- Good luck to our Track team as they head to Provincials this weekend.Ā Ā
- The Horton Griffins Girls Rugby Team defeated the Auburn Eagles to advance to provincials next weekend in Halifax. The girls started strong, scoring the first two tries courtesy of Catira āthe goatā Sommers who converted both. The Eagles managed a lucky try just before half and scored again in the second half to leave the score a razor thin margin, 14 -12 for Horton. The Griffs took control of the game scoring twice more with āthe Goatā touching down for another try and slotting the convert to seal the victory and their ticket to provincials. There were a number of strong performances but the Galdalf of the game eventually went to Elli Kinsman who stepped up in a pivotal role and did a fantastic job distributing the ball in the win. Great job Griffs and good luck next weekend.Ā
