Want to challenge yourself with Advanced studies at Horton? 

Here’s how it works: 

This Advanced class option is available for students in Biology 11/12, Chemistry 11/12, English 11/12, Physics 11/12, Music and Art. 

After the first few weeks of class, students must discuss the Advanced course expectations with their teacher. If it’s the right fit, students can opt-in to the Advanced level by the end of the fourth week of classes.  The teacher will reach out to administration to make the change to their academic schedule. 

While switching back to the regular level is possible, it’s important to make that decision before the first report card in April.
