Congratulations to the Horton D1 Girls Volleyball team for an outstanding showing at the 16 team Mount Saint Vincent University Invitational this past weekend, finishing with a stellar 5-1 record!  The Griffins came out strong on Day 1, going 3-0 to win their pool, highlighted by key victories over their western rivals from Yarmouth and a thrilling win against Halifax powerhouse Halifax West.  On Sunday, the team continued their dominant run with back-to-back three-set thrillers, defeating CEC JV and once again overcoming Halifax West in a nail-biting rematch. The girls battled hard in the tournament final but fell to their western rivals from Parkview, earning a well-deserved second place finish.  Huge kudos to the players and coaches for their grit, teamwork, and competitive spirit. Horton pride was on full display!
