Horton High School – Calendar Update
End of September/October/November 2025
Horton office hours: Horton office phones are only answered from 8:15 AM to 4:00 PM. Sorry, we do not have an answering service option. If you need to alert the office outside these hours please Email jodye.routledge@avrce.ca or Text 902 670 8879
Please inform us of all absences so they can be recorded as AWN (Absent with Notification) or MR (Medical Reason). If your child misses an assessment and their absence is not recorded as one of these in PowerSchool, their teacher will contact you to notify you of the missed assessment. Once marked AWN or MR, the assessment should be written in a timely manner.
Horton High School is Scent Free
We have staff members and students who have a severe allergy to scented products. We are asking that you please make sure that students do not wear scented products to school. If you are visiting our school, please make sure you do not wear scented products.
