Horton office phones are only answered from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We do not have an answering service option. If you need to alert the office outside these hours please Email jodye.routledge@avrce.ca

- Professional Development (please send your child to school)
- Nov 7 – Take your kid to work day – Gr 9
- Nov 8 – Remembrance Day ceremonies
- Period Two – Assembly in PC for grade 9 and 11
- Period Three – Assembly in PC for grades 10 and 12
- Nov 11 – No School (Remembrance Day)
- Nov 13 – Math 10 Cumulative (Confirm first)
- Nov 21 – Grade 12 Transition Day
- Nov 21 – First Semester reports mailed home

- Nov 29 Dec 2,3,4 – Graduation Photos
- Dec 5 – No School
- AM – Staff Professional Development
- PM – Parent Teacher conferences

A few reminders from Horton:
- No Cell Phones in Classrooms/Washrooms
- Please follow our parking lot plan.
- Do not cross the crosswalk with your car, use the new student drop off zone. There is a sign “DO NOT ENTER.”
- Parents are reminded that no traffic should be in our bus loop inferring with bus traffic.
- Please help Horton promote positive school attendance.
- Horton High School is Scent Free
- We have staff members and students who have a severe allergy to scented products. We are asking that you please make sure that students do not wear scented products to school. If you are visiting our school, please make sure you do not wear scented products.
