I hope this message finds you and your family well.  The beginning of April swings the school year into its final quarter, with the signs of warmer spring weather telling us that the end of the school year is not that far away.  Believe it or not, another year of your kids’ education has almost concluded.  Horton will be super busy until the final day of school on June 30, with just over a quarter of the school year remaining, there is still so much to plan.  With the recent reduction of provincial restrictions, Horton is hard at work planning graduation, prom, safe grad, grad social, spring fling and various other school activities to help address student wellness.

Even with the recent reduction of provincial restrictions, this year has once again been a demanding school year for staff and students.  However, all have accepted the challenge of education during a global pandemic and have performed as champions for student learning. This pandemic has not been easy for students to manage, but I am happy to report that they are doing their best.
