The Division 1 Girls Basketball squad delivered an impressive 90-76 victory over North Nova to capture the Eastern Canadian Classic at Horton completing a perfect 3-0 weekend. Despite facing an early deficit, the team showed tremendous resilience and teamwork to pull away for a commanding 14-point win.

The fourth quarter saw Griffins close out the victory in style, with both Eva O’Brien and Isobel MacDonald continuing their stellar performances. O’Brien finished with a game-high 30 points, while MacDonald added 23 points with solid contributions across all facets. The supporting cast stepped up beautifully, with Abi Johnson and Cate Smith each contributing 10 points, including some timely three-pointers that helped seal the win. Great team win by the girls!
