The Horton School Advisory Council (SAC) brings together teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community members to enhance student achievement and well-being. Our goal is to gather input from all school community members to develop policies that foster a positive learning environment. The forms below allow parents and students to prioritize issues for our focus during our meetings.
Our first meeting of this year is scheduled for Tuesday December 2 at 6:30 PM in the Horton conference room.

Some of the items we work on include:
- Develop strategies for improving/supporting extracurricular programs and special projects.
- Maintain effective parent/guardian communication.
- Advise administration and staff on matters from the parents and students.
We have a small budget from the Department of Education that we can use for different needs, and opportunities at our school.
Your input is highly valued. We encourage you to submit topics to our committee.
