Camp Mockingee, October 20-22, 2025 — A group of approximately 70
dedicated students from our International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and
Certificate cohorts successfully completed the IB Launchpad at Camp
Mockingee. This three-day experience was crafted to provide a supportive
transition into the IB program, combining foundational academic work with
uplifting, hands-on learning in a natural setting.
Our staff, including IB Coordinator & IB Biology instructor Jay Fuller, Theory of
Knowledge (TOK) and Extended Essay (EE) Coordinator Derek Gaudet, and
Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) Coordinator Natalie MacIsaac, were joined
by subject experts: Nadia Hubbard (English HL), James Joice (French B SL),
Steve Millar (Geography HL), Brad Richard (History HL), Anita Coldwell
(Chemistry HL), Mitchell Brown (Physics SL), and Sean Easton (Math A&A SL).
