Course registration for the 2025-2026 school year is approaching! Over the next few weeks, Horton High School will guide students through the course selection process.
Key Dates & Events:
- February 7th:
- Grade 9: Presentation on course registration in all Grade 9 classes. Presentation will also be available in your Google Classroom (esgrv3l).
- Grade 9: O2 Applications due (submit to Mr. Morse or Mr. Beck)
- February 10th: Grade 10/11: Scheduling Google Meet with Mr. Morse and Ms. Greene (Period 2)
- February 10th-14th: Mr. Routledge will visit all Grade 9 Math classes to answer questions.
- February 12th-17th: O2 Interviews (conducted by Mr. Morse and Mr. Beck)
- February 19th: Credit Check and preparing for registration day – Grade 10/11 students (Period 3 – B/F Block)
- February 20th: Grade 9 Scheduling Worksheet – Preparing for registration day. (Period 2)
- February 25th: Grade 9 Online Course Registration (During Math class)
- February 27th: Grade 10/11 Online Course Registration (Period 4)
Math Pathways:
To graduate, all students must successfully complete one math credit in each of Grades 10, 11, and 12. Math courses are organized into three distinct pathways.
Please carefully review the Math Pathways document and discuss it with your student.
