The Holiday Spirit and goodwill is alive and well at Horton and its surrounding communities. We see examples of students showing goodwill to one another each day.Ā We know that this time of year can be extremely difficult for some families and we respect that not everyone is able to embrace the holidays in the same way. To help just a little Horton will once again devote time and effort to help families struggling this Holiday Season and throughout the rest of the year.Ā Horton Staff in partnership with local organizations and businesses will provide many families with support this year.
Through the Horton Equity Initiative many families will receive a special dinner, small gifts, and other needed essentials.Ā Once again, this year our list of families to support is big, bigger than ever,Ā but we are committed to make a difference during the giving season.Ā We ask that you consider taking time to give back to the community by dropping a small monetary donation off at the school or small gifts that you feel a teen in our community would appreciate.Ā In the lobby near the office you will find our Giving Tree, there are tags with ideas but you are welcome to add whatever you would like.Ā Monetary donations and gift cards are always welcome – but please give those to the office staff.
The Horton community thanks you in advance for your generous donations and continued support.
