Recap of the weekend win for the D1 girls basketball team.
The girls D1 basketball team went 3-0 this weekend and won the CPA Fall Classic. They best Grammar 68-42 on Friday, player of the game was Rachel who had 7 steals. Saturday morning they beat CEC 78-33 to advance to the finals and Lily was our player of the game with 14 points. The girls won a gritty game against Bernice McNaughten in the finals 66-41 and Ali was our player of the game with 21 points. There were solid efforts from everyone all weekend!
Good luck to the girls as they’re off to Halifax West next weekend for another tournament!
