Dear Horton Community,

We have a core team in place to do some gardening at Horton on the weekend of May 28th – 29th. We have several areas identified for some plant boxes, greenhouses and both flower and vegetable gardens. We need your help! If you are cleaning up your gardens and have plants such as hostas, lilies, rhodos, or other perennial flowers or vegetables, we would love to be the recipients of what you are thinning out!

If you are able to drop off plants at the school, in pots, between May 24th and 27th, we will have people available to accept donations by the main doors between 8:30 am and 3:45 pm. If you have donations but would like to arrange pick-up, please contact the school at (902) 542-6060 to let us know where to find you and how much room we’ll need for plants!
